soooo pretty much im sick of all these characters who have everything handed to them being so dramatic...can't ester just be satisfied with her life?...she's accomplished so much and has an amazing oppurtunity in the city that many would kill for but no...she sits around and mopes about how she is not happy...if you're not happy you should never blame it on the place but rather the person in my opinon...new york city has a lot of things to offer for everyone...if you're not happy one should look within themselves...if shes not passionate about passion then DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...as my mother always says, it's better to light a candle then curse the darkness...in other words...get off your butt and change your life if you're so unhappy about it ester...however, all in all its a good book

i completely agree with you. Esther came to the BIG APPLE! so many more opportunities, but because of her negative thinking in life, she only finds things to stress about of think about that do not put her in a good place. This issue is causing her to feel more insecure with herself as well as her social life. YO MOMMA IS CORRECTTT, IF SOMETHING IS WRONG OR IF SOMETHING DIDNT GO THE WAY YOU PLANNED FREAKIN TAKE THE INITIATIVE AND DO SOMETHIN ABOUT IT!!!
